From Tunis Sousse & Hammamet: 2 Day desert tour & tent night

A spectacular experience! A special compliment to Nasser, our guide: very friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent. He told us lots of interesting facts about the Tunisian people and the country's history. The tour and the attractions were wonderful and, despite the long journeys, time flew by thanks to him. Excellent lunches and dinners, except for the last lunch with rice and chicken: the rice didn't taste good. Everything else was fabulous! Just one tip: I would spend more time at the Great Mosque of Kairouan and the medina, because they deserve a more in-depth visit. There are also beautiful workshops where they make handmade carpets. The tour was really good and a lot of fun. Ali was a really good guide. He has very extensive knowledge and kept us entertained with a lot of interesting information during the trip. The tour was mainly in English and French, but it is also possible to speak to Ali in Arabic and Italian – which is very impressive. Although some of the trips were really long, our driver Ayoub did a really excellent job. I always felt safe as a woman traveling alone. The group was also very nice. I quickly made friends and felt very comfortable. However, the stay at the oasis was unfortunately a bit short, which was a real shame. Nevertheless, I would recommend the trip to anyone. The night in the desert alone is more than worth the whole thing. We were warmly welcomed at all stops, saw and learned a lot, and the food was also delicious. Really great.
